The Tiger Cubs teamed up to study a major historical event when the Fayetteville Elementary 5th grade gathered to learn about World War 1.

As a culminating activity for the unit, the 5th grade classes worked together in blended small groups to explore World War 1 with special tri-fold displays. Students read information and examined pictures, then had vivid discussions using content vocabulary and responded to questions as they interacted with each display.

“It was our hope that students would gain a deeper understanding of the content as they had discussions with their peers through using the displays,” said teacher Paulette Williams.
