The Senoia Area Historical Society will hold its 2023 fundraising live and silent auction on Saturday, November 11th. This annual event is the highlight of each year’s activities which fund the mission of the Society and the operating expenses of the Senoia Area Historical Society Museum.

This year’s event will be held in the newly renovated museum meeting room. Knife and Stone restaurant and SAHS corporate sponsor will provide light food fare and drinks. Event co-chairperson, Stephanie Reeder says, “This year’s auction items are lots of wonderful experiences and unique auction items. We have two ebike rentals and a picnic lunch from Senoia Bicycle. Atlanta Falcon versus New Orlean Saints football tickets and a teddy Bear Mobile Party for 10 children and many, many more. Each and every item is unusual and not the typical ‘silent and live auction fare’ “.

Tickets for the auction are $25 and are available at www.senoiahistory.com. Also available are raffle tickets for a one week stay in a condominium at the Palmetto Dunes OceanFront Resort on Hilton Head Island. Raffle tickets are $75, and only 75 tickets will be sold.

The Senoia Area Historical Society is located at 6 Couch Street in Senoia. Auctioneer Evan Stitt, a Senoia resident, hopes that everyone will join the fun and help support this great cause. “Preserving Senoia’s history for years to come. This is going to be an exciting event with wonderful experiences, it will be hard for people to choose which items to bid on.”

The Senoia Area Historical Society auction starts at 6:00 PM at the SAHS Museum. For tickets or for additional information, please see the website at www.senoiahistory.com.
