The McIntosh High School drama program will present a performance of their one act competition play The Spirit of Life at 6pm on Wednesday, November 8. Admission is free, and donations are accepted. The play will last 45 minutes.

The Spirit of Life is based on the book Hasidic Tales of the Holocaust, a collection of  interviews of Holocaust survivors. While it focuses on the experiences of Hasidic Jews in the Holocaust, its message of strength, faith and survival is universal.

The play placed first at the 3-AAAAA regional one act competition on October 28.  Max Thompson was named Best Actor, Reese Marler was named Best Supporting Actress, and  Hannah Scafe and Tyler Hooton were  named to the All-Star cast. They will now compete in the State competition on November 11.
