Senoia Optimist Club’s ‘Taste of Senoia’ set for April 23rd

This year's Taste of Senoia includes a premier raffle for a 7 day stay at the Club Wyndham Panama City Beach. The deluxe 2 bedroom condo – valued over $5,400 – sleeps 6 and is set up for July 27 – August 3, 2023! This raffle sale is already underway. You can also purchase via cash or check from Debbie Mashburn at Farmers Insurance (next to Wings & Things on Hwy. 16). Tickets are only $50 each, and a maximum of 200 tickets are being sold. You can also purchase tickets by contacting other members of the Senoia Optimist Club directly, or by emailing senoiaoptimistclub@gmail.com.

The Taste of Senoia, hosted since 2010 by the Senoia Optimist Club, is scheduled for Sunday, April 23rd, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in downtown Senoia. Currently, at least 18 restaurants / eateries will provide delicious food “tastes” either at their downtown properties or at the Senoia Farmers’ Market located at 40 Travis Street.

In addition to the wonderful food offerings, there will be raffles inside the Masonic Lodge (19 Main Street). Also, a premier raffle will be conducted for a 7 day stay at the Club Wyndham Panama City Beach. This deluxe 2 bedroom Presidential Suite – valued over $5,400 – sleeps 6, and your vacation week is set up for July 27 – August 3, 2023! These raffle tickets are already on sale for only $50 each, and just 200 tickets are being sold. Tickets for this special trip can be purchased now for cash or check from Debbie Mashburn at Farmers Insurance (next to Wings & Things on Hwy. 16). You can purchase tickets in advance by contacting a member of the Senoia Optimist Club directly, or by emailing senoiaoptimistclub@gmail.com.

If tickets for this premier raffle are still available the day of the event, you can purchase them at either the Masonic Lodge or the Farmers Market where tickets for “tastes” can be purchased. It is also planned that tickets will be sold that day outside of City Hall (80 Main Street).

 Some of the highlights of our Taste of Senoia are as follows:

  • most Senoia restaurants/eateries will provide tastes of one or more of their delicious foods
  • food taste tickets are only $1 each (most tastes are 2 to 4 tickets)
  • raffle items, many of which are being donated by local businesses / vendors, will be at the Masonic Lodge
  • major raffle for 7 day stay at Panama City Beach, FL ($5,400 value)
  • musicians will perform at the courtyard below the Masonic Lodge and at the Farmers’ Market.
  • Sunday April 23rd, 1pm to 4pm, rain or shine

When the Taste of Senoia opens on April 23rd, you can enter raffles on a large assortment of items in the Masonic Lodge that you can possibly win and take home!

 The annual Taste of Senoia on April 23rd in downtown Senoia is promising to be a great time of food and fun! As mentioned above, you can sample foods from many of the local restaurants / eateries and also enter raffles with some wonderful prizes. Funds raised will be used in supporting youth-oriented projects that the club undertakes each year.
