FCHS forensics studies spatter

The Tigers are ready to crack the case. The forensic science class at Fayette County High put their knowledge of blood spatter to the test.

With a lab in Diana Blankenship’s class, they dropped simulated blood at different heights, then averaged the diameters to see if there was a trend in the spatter. They will use what they uncovered about how height affects blood spatter with a true crime exercise, proving that a husband is lying about his missing wife.
