The Blue Angels to will give a jet ride to Fayette County Public Schools Teacher of the Year Rising Starr Middle School’s Christy Todd, chosen as “Key Influencer” for the air show.

On Wednesday, November 2, at 10:30 a.m. from Falcon Field (7 Falcon Dr., Peachtree City, Ga. 30269), Todd will get to experience the ride of her life in the backseat of an F/A-18 Super Hornet with Blue Angel 7, Lieutenant Commander Griffin Stangel, as her pilot.

During her 45-minute flight, Todd, a resident of Griffin, will experience rolls, loops, and turns like that of the best roller coaster ride imaginable.

“I could not be more excited,” said Todd after being selected to fly. “I am extremely honored to have been given this opportunity.”

Among the ground display features of the air show will be the F-18 Super Hornet, the V-22 Osprey and the P-63 King Cobra.
