0The Cardinals are finding out there are many ways to master math.
Crabapple Lane Elementary 1st graders have been busy studying different ways to represent numbers, and they also have been using Venn diagrams to categorize sets of data before they analyze them.
“We hope that students are mastering the standards and forming a firm foundation of number sense in 1st grade,” said teacher Dana Fairrel. “This will be essential for them as they continue to move forward in math progression in 1st grade.”
