Dot Day dazzles at Crabapple Lane

There was a full slate of dot-related fun at Crabapple Lane Elementary as the Cardinals celebrated International Dot Day.

Inspired by “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds, students read the book and turned it into a wide array of activities. They created a collaborative Dot Day bulletin board outside of the Art Studio where students and faculty could pose for fun photos, but the Dot Day excitement didn’t stop there. It spilled over into classrooms, where some classes created pictures from a dot and wrote about them. Still others did a STEAM project with DOTS candy and toothpicks to see who could build the tallest tower.

A lot of memories were made on International Dot Day!
