The world of iPads can be confusing since they don’t navigate similar to the computers we often use. When using the Apple system, there are many differences, but so many things to take advantage of. Join tech expert Samuel Tisdale as he covers the basics to using your iPad. Learn how to utilize your product to get the most out of your tablet. Potted plants are easy and mobile which make them a great way to display your plants anywhere and conveniently care for them as well! Join WellCare as they teach us how to grow vegetables and herbs in containers during this hands-on demonstration. Learn how you can use potted plants both inside and outside, how to maintain them in certain environments, how to care for them and more. Everyone will make a container garden to take home as well. The official Fayette County Historian John Lynch shares the details of this mill’s influence in our county and why it is one of the major historic landmarks in our area. With his roots in Fayette County dating back to the 1820s, John has an understanding of our area unlike any others. He will also share the story of one of the county’s unsolved murders that took place right on the steps of the mill, the murder of his grandfather George Lynch. The Tennessee Children’s Home Society was an orphanage operated by the state of Tennessee during the mid-1920s through 1950s. As we zone in on the Memphis branch operator Georgia Tann and her role in the organization, you’ll discover a story that is almost entirely unbelievably but very real. She organized the kidnapping of children and processed illegal adoptions in an operation that will leave you speechless.
