The community at North Fayette Elementary thrives together because they learn together. The Beta Buddies initiative is just one way the Dolphins team up to succeed.

As a service project, 4th and 5th graders in the Jr. Beta Club visit with kindergarten students to support their academic needs in a variety of ways, like math practice, reading, and sight words. The Beta students offer up their recess or specials time to assist.

The partnership has been great for the school said teacher Kim Simpson.

“The purpose of this service project is to encourage service to others, while promoting social responsibility and fostering leadership throughout the school.”
