VIP Room honors best behavior for Broncos

Positive behavior is catching on around Bennett’s Mill Middle. The Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) program hosts themed-lunch celebrations for students to reward and encourage the Bronco family to be their best.

Students purchase tickets for the VIP Room using school currency called Bronco Bucks, which they earn from staff members. During the themed lunch celebrations, they have an opportunity to eat lunch with peers, play games, listen to music, and enjoy special snacks. In March, to coincide with the college basketball tournament, it was a March Madness VIP Room that included basketball games.

Since doing their first event in February, there has been a noticeable decline in the number of referrals as students work hard to earn enough Bronco Bucks to purchase VIP Room tickets.
