Thanks to a District Grant – made possible by The Rotary Foundation – and funds from the Rotary Club of Fayette Daybreak, over $2,000 worth of much-needed medical equipment was recently donated to The Healing Bridge Clinic in Peachtree City.

The Healing Bridge Clinic’s (www.healingbridgeclinic.org) mission is to care for the residents of Fayette and surrounding counties by providing free health care to those who would otherwise be unable to afford these medical services. Treatment is provided by local medical professionals who volunteer their time and expertise. Services include general medicine, dermatology, cardiology, podiatry, orthopedics, addiction counseling, in- house labs, low-cost medications, and more.

Fayette Daybreak Rotary Club was able to provide the clinic with two Diagnostic Desk Sets (ophthalmoscopes/otoscopes) used for ear and eye examinations. Prior to the donation, the clinic had only one set of equipment being shared by all physicians; now these diagnostic sets are in each examination room. This will allow medical professionals to accomplish more during their volunteer hours and help patients be treated more quickly and efficiently. The Rotary Club of Fayette Daybreak was grateful to The Rotary Foundation for helping them support the clinic’s mission of providing health services to those in need in our community.

The Healing Bridge Clinic is located at 215 Willow Bend Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269. For information about services and clinic hours, call (770) 681-0157, or email clinic@healingbridgeclinic.org.
