Heather Webb Book Signing & Talk

Thursday, February 10th, 2022, 1:00pm-3:00pm—Floy Farr Room

Join the Peachtree City Library for a book talk and signing with celebrated author Heather Webb. Heather will be discussing her new book The Next Ship Home which will be released on February 8th. On site book sales will be available courtesy of Book Miser. This is a drop-in event, no registration required. This event will be held in person on the lower level of Peachtree City Library in the Floy Farr Room.

Conversational Japanese

Join the Peachtree City Library for an introduction to learning Japanese. Using the Free Mango Languages learning system, participants will go through a lesson and then be able to practice in-person with a Japanese speaker. Are you already learning Japanese? Come have a chat and practice your conversational skills. This FREE event will be held on the lower level of the library in Room 2. For ages 14+ and all skill levels. 2nd Annual Junior Art Show

Submission Deadline: Monday, February 28th, 2022

In celebration of Youth Art Month, Peachtree City Library is sending out a call to all Junior Artists ages 1-13 to participate in our 2nd Annual Junior Art Show. This year’s theme is “Art Connects Us.” The artwork can be a drawing, sketch, coloring, or painting sized 8½ x11 or 11×14 on paper, construction paper, poster board or painting panel. Or participants can pick up an art template at the Circulation Desk of the Peachtree City Library. The artwork will be featured on the storytime window in the Children’s Department as well as on the library’s Facebook page as a slide show throughout March 2022. Every artist will receive a certificate and treat just for participating. We will accept paper submissions at the Circulation Desk or by email to Cherese Cadet at ccadet@peachtree-city.org through Monday, February 28, 2022.
