Talented young artists are on display, as six winners were chosen for the Superintendent’s annual holiday art contest. The victors emerged from a field of about 50 entries and represent five different schools.
The winners are Leilani Lyles (5th grade, Fayetteville Elem., art teacher Briana Long), Liyana Adeel (3rd grade, Spring Hill, teacher Racheal Harris), Samantha Sepulveda (3rd grade, Kedron, teacher Joy Kembel), Willow Burrus (4th grade, Braelinn, teacher Kristin Miller), Davis Marden (4th grade, Sara Harp Minter, teacher Melissa Tillison), and Blue Schlussler (5th grade, Sara Harp Minter, teacher Melissa Tillison).
The winners received a copy of their creations at the December 13 Board of Education meeting.
