The accolades are rolling in for Alexa Markley. A member of the four-time defending state champion McIntosh Chiefs, she is one of just 24 elite volleyball players around the country selected for the prestigious honor of Under Armour All-American.
At senior night on October 5, Markley was presented with an honorary All-American game jersey by Principal Maggie Walls and Athletic Director Leon Hammond in front of her family, friends, and teammates. Markley will participate in the Under Armour All-American Volleyball Match on December 30 in Orlando.
Earlier this season, Markley recorded her 1,000th career kill for the Chiefs. She is committed to play volleyball for Penn State University.
