Peachtree City police are asking for help locating four shoplifters who fled Home Depot on Oct. 7 with $4,000 in merchandise, then bailed out of the vehicle behind the nearby Walmart.
On Oct. 7 at approximately 7:45 p.m. the individuals (pictured on the department’s Facebook Page) passed all points of sale with over $4,000 in merchandise, without paying, police said.
“After being confronted by Home Depot personnel and law enforcement, they entered a vehicle and fled behind Walmart, where three of four occupants ran from the car on foot. The three individuals below remain outstanding,” the post noted.
Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact the Peachtree City Police Department at 770-461-8866.

So these four scumbags managed to all get into a vehicle to make their escape …while both Home Depot (loss prevention?) personnel and confronted by LAW ENFORCEMENT as well? So what did the the “good guys” do? Especially the cops? IDK …sounds pretty lame to me.
Home Depot personnel are barred from anything other than being a witness.
Why would you expect a minimum wage employee to risk a confrontation in order to protect corporate profits? I as a business owner would prefer to file an insurance claim for stolen product than risk having an employee be laid up for weeks because he got shanked by some thug over a $100 roll of copper wire.
Lessee’…bailed out behind Wal-Mart…maybe walked back to apartments on McDuff?
