The Fayette County High Green Club took their message to the grand opening of the much-anticipated Fayetteville City Center Park.

The Green Club was tapped to serve as ambassadors at the grand opening, where club members made seed bombs with wildflower seeds as a collaborative craft and distributed park maps and informational pamphlets. They also connected with potential volunteers and accepted donations to continue their mission of sustainability.

The Green Club’s mission is to promote environmentally sustainable practices around the school, maintain the aesthetic beauty of the natural environment, and educate on matters of food security and nutrition.
