The Peeples Elementary Rockets strive to take learning to new heights, and one group did just that with a STEM challenge focused on building tall towers.

Students in Amy Anastas’s 3rd-grade class were tasked with using newspapers to build the tallest structure that would support the weight of a large ball for at least 30 seconds. The buildings didn’t quite scrape the sky, but the hands-on learning gains were measurable!
