For the first time since January 2020, the Friends of the Fayette County Public Library (FFCPL) are resuming in-person book sales at the library to raise funds in support of the institution, 1821 Heritage Park Way in Fayetteville, behind the county Administration Complex.
FFCPL, a local nonprofit, will be offering thousands of books, movies, CDs, audiobooks, board games and puzzles donated by members of our community. All funds raised will support a variety of educational and enriching programs offered by the Fayette County Public Library.
The sale will run from June 3 through June 5 at the library. All FFCPL members get exclusive shopping times on Thursday, June 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Friday, June 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..
It will then open up to the general public on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, June 5 from 9 to 4. The last two hours on Saturday will be a special half-off flash sale, where all items will be sold for 50% of the marked price. Credit cards (for a $1 transaction fee), cash and checks will be accepted.
If you want to be able to enjoy the sale before the general public, or are just looking for a tax-deductible option to support literacy in Fayette County, be sure to check out www.ffcpl.org or email [email protected] for more information about becoming a member today.
