Once again, Democrats are spewing lies. This time certain Democrat “leaders” are pushing a false narrative that blacks don’t have photo IDs and therefore should not be required to have an ID to vote.

This comes in response to Georgia’s new voter security legislation which now makes mandates that ALL voters, those who show up in person and those who vote by mail-in absentee ballot, produce a driver’s license or state issued ID number to show that they are duly registered voters and are entitled to vote in Georgia elections.

The lies of these Democrats that blacks don’t have photo ID are insulting to all blacks who are living and working just fine in this 21st Century high-tech America!

Minority Americans purchase cars and drive them with our driver’s license. We buy alcohol and cigarettes with a driver’s license. We legally own firearms, travel on Delta and other airlines, stay in hotels, have bank accounts, and credit cards which all require legal ID. We own and use cell phones, tablets, and computers which allow easy voter registration inputting information from our state issued driver’s licenses … need I go on?

Unbelievably they argue that such a requirement to prove one is a registered voter and entitled to vote is racist, suppressive, and “Jim Crow 2.0.” Well, since they brought that up, I must mention that the Democrat Party is the originator and owner of “Jim Crow” laws and segregation.

Speaking as a black American, I feel it is time to for the left to stop making a mockery of black people in America. And it is time for black people to speak up and demand that they cease and desist!

Unfortunately, we now see major corporations, professional sports organizations, mainstream and social media giants, and Hollywood celebrities are all kneeling at the altar of the radical left. Why? I believe it is because the CEOs of these corporations fear the left-wing radicals who will brand them as racists more they fear the loss of income when conservatives take their dollars elsewhere.

The left is calling for a boycott of Delta, Major League Baseball, and Coca-cola, and other companies, if they don’t bow to the lies of the “woke” left about this new election integrity legislation. Democrats will start a campaign to accuse these corporations of supporting racism if they don’t play their game.

This blackmail scheme is not a new tactic of the left. Self-appointed black leaders such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have been using this tactic for decades to force corporations to bend to their ideology and fund their leftist activities. It is time these corporate CEOs stop allowing this to happen.

Why do the left spend so much time, energy, and money fighting legislation that would create fair, honest, and transparent elections? Is it because so many blacks, Latinos and other former Democrat voters have left the Democrat Party and are now voting for Republican candidates? Do these Democrats think the only way they can now stay in power is to win elections through fraud?

The “woke” MLB taking the All-Star game away from Atlanta will have an economic impact of over $100 million dollars and hard-working minorities who work at the stadium and the many local businesses that cater to the fans will be the ones impacted by this loss.

The irony of this loss of income for Atlanta minorities is that many of these Democrat/progressive/socialist radical politicians, as well as social media CEOs, entertainers, and sports figures are enjoying lavish lifestyles with multi-million dollar bank accounts.

Here is a noble idea for these so-called leaders of the Democrat Party: Invest some of that accumulated wealth and your legislative powers to combat poverty, gangs, high unemployment, and failing schools in the black community instead playing the “race card” to get photo-ops. Stop supporting the defunding of police forces that are sorely needed to protect black communities.

Here is another noble idea: demand the defunding of Margaret Sanger’s organization, Planned Parenthood, that is responsible for aborting millions upon millions of babies, mostly black babies. While there are many in the black community who have left the party for the party’s support of abortion and even infanticide, I wonder when in God’s name will the rest of the black community open their eyes and see that they continue to vote for a party that supports the abortion of future black doctors, lawyers, teachers, pastors, parents, and grandparents. Millions of black babies who never got a chance at life.

As a black American and a Christian, I am so weary of the Democrats lying and playing on the intelligence of black people. Joe Biden stated the sentiment of the Democrat Party very well when he said “you ain’t Black if you don’t vote for me.”

Listen, black America, Democrats feel they are entitled to 100% of black votes. For years the black vote kept them in power and that is all that counts to Democrats, not the quality of black lives. I pray for the day when all blacks will put their faith above politics, return to the teachings of the Christian church, and stop voting for Democrats.

  1. Pretty sure most every historical account that is factual shows that President Grant and the Republican party began reconstruction and was blocked and undermined every step of the Way by the Democratic Party in the south.

    • Not quite. The southern faction of the Democrat party had little to no power in Congress at the time Reconstruction was being put into effect, so they certainly didn’t block anything. The first former Confederate States to be readmitted to the Union, however, did speedily ratify the first two Reconstruction Amendments. And the President during reconstruction, Andrew Johnson, was a Democrat. Most Reconstruction policies were pushed through by an alliance of Northern Democrats and moderate Republicans. You’ll find that Northeastern Democrats had some of the harshest ideas for punishing the former Confederacy. Which goes back to the Sectionalist conflicts which originated the Civil War to begin with.

The biggest impediment to Reconstruction was actually a small group of Radical Republicans who used every incitement to push for overly harsh punitive measures against former Confederate States that more mainline Republicans and moderate Northeast Democrats could not agree to. If anyone thinks this nation is divided now, they really should study the Reconstruction.

  2. If this nonsensical rambling is indicative of Republican leadership and thought, then I feel much more comfortable voting the opposite party. Contradictions everywhere and not one hint of reflection as to why black people want nothing to do with Republicans.

      • Happy to do so! Let’s start with the nonsense shall we?

“I must mention that the Democrat Party is the originator and owner of “Jim Crow” laws and segregation.”

        – Nonsense. This is very disingenuous as the “Southern Democrat Party” Mr. Jones is referring to was very white and very racist. As everyone knows, the parties flipped with many of those Southern Democrats switching to the Republican party after the Civil Rights act was passed.

“Why do the left spend so much time, energy, and money fighting legislation that would create fair, honest, and transparent elections?”

        – Nonsense. There was ZERO widespread voter fraud in our elections. Our elections were fair, honest, and transparent. This bill does not and will not make for more secure elections, it will only make it harder to vote for our fellow citizens who don’t vote traditionally.

“Is it because so many blacks, Latinos and other former Democrat voters have left the Democrat Party and are now voting for Republican candidates?”

        – Nonsense. Nope, they didn’t. Black voters consistently vote between 85-90% Democrat every 4 years. Also in case Mr. Jones didn’t notice, more people voted Democrat than Republican in 2016 (65M to 62M) & even more people voted Democrat than Republican in 2020 (81M to 74M).

“As a black American and a Christian, I am so weary of the Democrats lying and playing on the intelligence of black people.”

-Nonsense. Is Mr. Jones insinuating that black people are somehow less intelligent b/c they vote Democrat? He contradicts himself by saying black people are “working and living just fine in the 21st century high-tech America” however, at the same time they are too stupid to compare both parties and make the best decision as to whom they want to represent them?

“Here is another noble idea: demand the defunding of Margaret Sanger’s organization, Planned Parenthood, that is responsible for aborting millions upon millions of babies, mostly black babies”

        – Nonsense. What the hell does planned parenthood have to do with new new voting legislation? This is a non-sequitur and belongs in another conversation. He does this a few times and it detracts from any point he may be trying to make.

“I pray for the day when all blacks will put their faith above politics, return to the teachings of the Christian church, and stop voting for Democrats.”

        – Nonsense. You can be a Christian and vote Democrat.

To your last question, why do I feel that black people want nothing to do with Republicans? Well it’s not really a feeling, it’s a fact. When 85% – 90% of black voters vote against your party it seems obvious doesn’t it? I’m not saying a small portion of black folks don’t vote conservative, but Republicans aren’t exactly going out of their way to court the black vote. Look at their representation in Congress. In the House of Rep. there are 57 black members. 55 represent Democrats, 2 represent Republicans.

Additionally, Republicans have a white supremacy problem that doesn’t exactly help black folks feel welcome. I’m happy to provide more context on this claim but I fear I’ve gotten pretty long-winded here.

          • That’s a pretty racist statement right there…..”Uncle Tyrone”…….what do you think Cal?

          • #1: Uncle Tyrone…really? For someone as outspoken against so many issues; you not only would name-call somebody on a public news site but do so toward a black man with a vitriolic term? Shameful.

#2: Anyone that actually knows Mr. Jones knows the only name he should be called is Tyrone “Megaphone” Jones. (Shout-out from one of his McIntosh High alumni)
