The popular City of Fayetteville Shred & Recycle event returns to the City Hall parking lot on Saturday, April 17, 9 a.m. to noon.

Residents are invited to bring up to 10 boxes of paper for shredding (no binders, clips or other non-paper material), electronics for recycling (no televisions), and household glass (no windows, auto glass, or ceramics).

There will be a self-service drop-off area for glass recyclables. Assistance will be available for electronics and paper recycling.

Participants are asked on that day to use the Fisher Avenue entrance into the City Hall parking lot and to exit from the parking lot onto Lee Street.

For more information, contact the City Clerk’s office at 770-719-4159.
