Starr’s Mill softball brings sweet treats for first responders

The Starr’s Mill High fast pitch softball team is grateful for those who put their lives on the line every day to protect our community, and the Panthers said thank you to local first responders with a sweet treat.

The team recently held a Krispy Kreme fundraiser with the option to purchase a dozen doughnuts for Peachtree City police and firefighters.

“I was taken aback by the amount of orders that we received to be donated,” said Starr’s Mill softball coach Peyton Dean. “The success of this fundraiser was a direct result of our players being excited to participate in a fundraiser that not only supported their team, but also provided an opportunity to give back to their community and show appreciation to our first responders.”
