Shamrock Park in Tyrone on Oct. 30 was ground zero for the largest attendance ever for a Trick-or-Treat event.

Unlike past years where kids moved through downtown, this year it was the Trick or Treat Trail at Shamrock Park that broke all records.

Held in and around Shamrock Park, 38 businesses, organizations and churches passed out 2,000 bags of candy.

Recreation department staff said it was the largest turn-out yet. Given the success this year, plans for next year include duplicating the Trick or Treat Trail.
