A Peachtree City woman has been charged with child molestation in a 2018 incident where she showed a pornographic video of herself and an unknown male to an underage juvenile.
Melanie L. Busby, 44 was charged with one count of child molestation, according to Fayette County Jail records.
Peachtree City Police Department spokesman Chris Hyatt said the incident was reported in April 2019 and resulted in forensic interviews being conducted.
The resulting child molestation charge dealt with a mid-2018 incident at Busby’s Peachtree City residence in which she is said to have showed a pornographic video of herself and an unknown male to a juvenile under age 16, said Hyatt.
Hyatt said Busby had been incarcerated at the Arrendale State Prison in northeast Georgia on other charges from a neighboring agency, and was transported to the Fayette County Jail.
