Action by the Peachtree City Planning Commission on July 13 led to the approval of a conceptual site plan for a 6,912 sq. ft. retail building to be situated on a 1-acre parcel on Ga. Highway 54 East.
The conceptual site plan called for constructing a new 6,912 sq. ft. retail building at the current location of the Campanile’s furniture store, which is moving to another site.
Formerly the Bank of Georgia building, the site totals 1.06 acres and is situated on the east side of the highway between Mavis Tires to the south and Miles Hardware to the north.
The proposal included 25 parking spaces, which met the required 23 spaces.
City planning staff recommended approval.
