Cornerstone United Methodist Church at Thomas Crossroads in east Coweta County was the setting last week for the annual drive-thru Nativity, made possible through the efforts of countless church members.

Beyond the construction required for the many drive-thru stations depicting the birth of Jesus and the work to reconfigure the parking area, there is much required behind the scenes to make the event memorable.

In all, 600 church members worked in cold temperatures as actors and as support staff to make the annual Nativity a success. In terms of the sheer scope of the production, it is a one-of-a-kind event in the area honoring the birth of Jesus.
