Ruth Ann Fields Shannon, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Monday March 11, 2019.
Ruth was retired from Delta Air Lines and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Newnan, Ga.
She is survived by her daughter, Lea Shannon Wainwright Spell; son, Jeffrey Donald Shannon; brother, Tommy (Dorothy) Fields; grandchildren, Todd (Sydni) Wainwright and Travis Wainwright.
A funeral will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church. Burial will follow at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City.
