Mrs. Mary Almeda Stoodt, age 84, of Fairburn, passed away November 11, 2018.
Mrs. Stoodt was a loving wife and mother, talented seamstress and gardener, who cherished time spent with family and friends. Following her retirement from Mercy Hospital Credit Union she remained active in her community church and for years enjoyed performing with church members for charitable causes.
She was predeceased by her father, Elma Lee Cochran and mother, Eliza M. Story; sister, Lavonia Binford and her husband of 47 years, Irwin C. Stoodt.
Survived by her children, Merilee Daniel, Charles E. Stoodt and his wife Shelly, Debra Ann Stoodt and her partner Kevin Brown, Dale I. Stoodt and his wife Debra; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Ida Lee Kinchen and Evelyn Jeanette Isley; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mary Almeda Stoodt will be held Sunday March 10, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 359 West SW Board Street, Fairburn, Ga. Inurnment to follow for both Mary Almeda Stoodt and Irwin C. Stoodt.
