Michael Glenn Looper, 33, of Sharpsburg passed away on Saturday morning, December 29, 2018.

He was born on September 17, 1985 in Newnan, Ga. He honorably served six years in the United States Air Force. Glenn was a loving husband, son, grandson, brother, and father. He loved hunting and was a PADI certified Divemaster. Glenn was a jack of all trades, master of all. He also loved to go hiking in the mountains and biking with his wife and children. Glenn was a man with a big heart who will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Abigail Looper; his daughters, Kate and Lizzy Looper; his sons, Bob and Oliver Looper; his sister, Michelle Looper; his brother, David Looper, and his wife, Melissa; his sister-in-laws, Calun Reece and her husband, Sean and Lynsey Scarbrough and her husband, Jason, and Juliann Durham and her husband, Preston; his nephews, Brycen, Leland, Kaleb, Sean, and Cade; and his nieces, Kelcy, Americus, Hannah and Holly; his parents, Ken and Angie Looper; his father and mother-in-law, Cal and Judy Long; his grandmothers, Lucy Stewart and Joan Hayes; and his grandfather, Roy Hayes.

There was a memorial service held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Pastor Bobby Carpenter officiating. Burial followed the service at Brooks Memorial Gardens, Brooks. The family received friends from
12-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
