Ms. Phyllis Williams (91), of Peachtree City, passed away on May 25, 2018, after short bout with cancer.
Ms. Williams was born in British Guyana on July 21, 1926; she became a school teacher and business owner in NYC. She retired to Peachtree City in 1996 but remained active in local school and community volunteer activities. She firmly believed in God, the principles of education, and equality for all.
She is survived by her son, Randolph; grandchildren Shona, Jason, and Angelia; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Peachtree City on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Cards or flowers may be sent to her home address under Angelia Williams, 112 Twiggs Corner, Peachtree City, Ga. 30269.
