The 14th annual Run for the Gold 5K race and 1-mile fun run are scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 3, at Oak Grove Elementary School, 101 Crosstown Road in Peachtree City.

The 5K race begins at 8 a.m. and the 1-mile fun run starts at 8:05. Warmup begins at 7:30. Both runs begin on Log House Road and end at the school. Early registration is $20 per participant with a Feb. 23 registration deadline.  Late registration is $25. T-Shirts for those unable to run are $10 each.

Registrants may pick up race numbers and T-shirts at the school between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, Mar. 2. The school is less than a half-mile west of the intersection of Crosstown Road, Robinson Road and Ebenezer Road.
