The 2009 AFC girls academy team volunteered Jan. 8 at the Midwest Food Bank.
The girls cleaned, packed, and stacked over 6,500 cans of soda in record time.
They “worked hard, displayed great teamwork, and leadership by assigning and completing key tasks,” according to a team spokesperson.
