Peachtree City thieves hit 5 vehicles, 3 golf carts during Thanksgiving week

The period of Nov. 17-24 came with five entering auto incidents and three stolen golf carts in Peachtree City.

An entering auto incident occurred on Nov. 18 at the Planterra Ridge Golf Club. The front passenger window was broken and a backpack and sunglasses were stolen, police reports said.

Four additional entering auto incidents occurred on Nov. Each of the vehicles was unlocked, according to police reports.

A Nov. 18 entry occurred at a Emerling Lane residence where a magazine for a weapon was stolen.

Also on Nov. 18, medication was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Taberon Road.

A Nov. 19 incident at a residence on Bellenden Drive resulted in a laptop and a jacket stolen from the unlocked vehicle.

Another entering auto incident occurred on Nov. 19 incident on Bellenden Drive when a firearm, personal identification and credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

A golf cart stolen from a residence on Wynnmeade Parkway was reported on Nov. 20. The red 1999 Club Car was stolen from the driveway between 6-10:30 p.m., reports said.

A second golf cart, of unknown make and model, was reported stolen from a Wynnmeade Parkway residence at approximately 4:35 p.m. on Nov. 21, reports said.

A third golf cart was reported stolen from a Retreat Point residence on Nov. 21.
