Desi Williams, a Virginia physical therapist who hails from Peachtree City, is the eighth person voted off the “Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers” reality television show featured on CBS.

“It didn’t go as I had hoped or planned,” said Williams, according to realitytvworld.com

According to the online magazine, Desi was voted out of the Solewa tribe and became the first member of the Season 35 jury on Night 21 of the game through a 5-1 revote at Tribal Council instead of Joe Mena, a 34-year-old probation officer from Bronx, N.Y. who currently resides in Tolland, Conn.

There was a revote after the tribe split votes 4-4 between Desi and Joe, and both Lauren Rimmer, a 35-year-old fisherman from Beaufort, N.C., and Ben Driebergen, a 34-year-old U.S. Marine from Boise, Idaho, received one vote apiece, according to realitytvworld.com.
