Fayette County firefighters on Oct. 30 fought a blaze at a residence on Lincoln Road near Tyrone. Deputy Fire Chief Tom Bartlett said the fire was fought with tanker trucks, as there are no hydrants in the area. The resident returned home to find the home on fire.
