Ebenezer UMC plans revival
Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 680 Ebenezer Church Rd., will host a revival Sunday through Tuesday, Sept. 24-26, with services each night at 7 p.m.  Speakers include the Rev. Bert Maude, the Rev. Worship under the stars Sept. 30
Fayetteville Christian Church will host a Night of Worship under the stars Saturday, Sept. 30, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The night will start with a free hot dog dinner followed by a time of worship under the stars. Church members also will host a food drive for the Fayette Samaritans at this event. Fayetteville Christian is at 114 Hickory Road, Fayetteville. Call 770-461-8763 for more information.

Holy Trinity offers Stephen Ministry
Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City offers Stephen Ministry to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. Catholics as well as non Catholics are eligible to receive care. A Stephen Minister is a well-trained caregiver who listens, cares, prays, and encourages during a time of need.  Care is confidential and free. Rise Against Hunger event planned at Hopewell
Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will host a meal packing event in September for Rise Against Hunger. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Robert J. Burch Elementary,  330 Jenkins Rd. This year church members have also invited Bethany UMC to participate.   The event begins at 10 a.m. and volunteers should be in place by 9:30 a.m. This year Hopewell plans to pack 16,200 meals. For more information, or to volunteer for the event, contact Hopewell UMC at 770-306-7537. Those who would like to help, but can’t participate, may send monetary donations which are always welcome. Make checks payable to Hopewell UMC, mark the check for Rise Against Hunger (RAH), and send it to 351 Jenkins Road, Tyrone, GA 30290.
