0Fayetteville First UMC members are invited to get to know others in the church family and community and worship in a modern setting at the next Food and Fellowship gathering on Sunday, Aug. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Those attending are asked to bring food to share at a potluck- style dinner if they can, but food is not necessary.
Carson Thaxton and others will lead a time of worship together following dinner.
A nursery is provided for children 3 and under. Older children are invited to participate in group worship and then their own worship time.
Future gatherings include Sept. 24 and Oct. 22.
