The Aug. 3 meeting of the Peachtree City Council will include the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2018 budget and a update on the Lake Peachtree spillway project.
The council is expected to adopt the $34.466 million budget. The council has conducted several workshops and a public hearing on the budget.
Also at the meeting, the council will hear an update on the status of the spillway project on Lake Peachtree. No information on the project’s status was available at press time.
Based on earlier statements, it has been expected that the initial phases of the project would begin in August.
