The five veterans organizations in Fayette County have again banded together to hand out thousands of American flags during the upcoming 4th of July Parade in Peachtree City. Representatives from The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Marine Corps League gather in front of the Peachtree City Veterans Memorial with just a few of the many flags they will distribute along the parade: (L-R) Jeff White, Marine Corps League Detachment 1325; Jose Cuevas, commander, American Legion Post 50; Stony Lohr, commander, VFW Post 9949; Ron Stubbs, commander, VFW 3650; and Ray Willcocks, commander, American Legion Post 105.
