Mrs. Regina D. Godby, 87, of Newnan, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
She was a graduate of Fayette County High School Class of 1946. Regina attended Peabody College. Most of her career was teaching and in banking.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. “Dub” Godby; and her parents, George H. Davis and Carrie R. Davis.
Regina is survived by her son, Greg (Shell) Godby; daughters, Dana (Ross) Fralick and Shelly (Shane) Godby-Dupree-Fordham; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ronald (Noreen) Davis.
A visitation was held at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home & Crematory in Peachtree City, Ga. from 1p.m.-2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017. Graveside services was held at the Godby Family Cemetery, 5640 Old National Highway, College Park, GA 30349 at 3:30 p.m.
