Reception for Verizon customers in areas of central Peachtree City will soon get a boost with the April 20 approval of a “monopine” tower adjacent to Riley Field.
As unanimously approved by the Peachtree City Council, Verizon will lease approximately 1,000 sq. ft. at the city-owned parking lot adjacent to Riley Field, located on Wisdom Road near Peachtree City Elementary School.
The lease comes with an annual rental fee from Verizon of $22,200 for a minimum of five years.
