Shirley Hazel Cook, 81, of Fayetteville passed away February 19, 2017.
Shirley was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. She was a retired Registered Nurse and an enthusiastic Atlanta Braves fan.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Melissa Cosby; grandson, Doug Cosby; twin great-granddaughters, Lily and Kylie Cosby; brother, Paul Sandifer; sisters, Mary Hayes and Louise Price; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Friday, February 24, 2017, at 11 a.m., at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville, with Rev. Chuck Holt officiating. The family received friends Thursday, February 23, 2017, from 6 – 8 p.m., at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
