Separation and divorce can be a painful and stressful experience. It’s a confusing time when many may feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues they’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church to help face these challenges and move forward. New membrs may join at any time.

Each session includes a video seminar with experts on divorce and recovery subjects followed by group discussion and support. Session topics are available at divorcecare.org.

Kevin McCormick and Phyllis Williamson are facilitating a new 16-week group which began Jan. 24 and continues on Tuesdays through May 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Room C-270.

New members are always welcome. For more information, contact Kevin McCormick at 770-891-1177.

GriefShare is a program where caring individuals walk with others through the journey of grief. Classes facilitated by Carol and Bill Webb meet Mondays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Room B-350. Follow the GriefShare link at griefshare.org for session topics and descriptions.

Those who have completed GriefShare are invited to a monthly group follow-up meeting called Healing Hearts on the third Monday of each month from 12 to 1 p.m.

For more information, contact the Webbs, 404-234-1056 or carolbass@bellsouth.net.
