The Fayette County Library is offering three financial education workshops in February to patrons designed to increase financial wealth through increased knowledge of financial management.
The workshops are:
“Understanding the Jargon,” Wednesday, Feb. 1, 6:30 p.m. – Cynthia McCrary of BetterInvesting – GA Chapter will teach the meaning of key terms of investing used by financial professionals. This class is designed for the beginner investor to enhance their knowledge of the stock market and financial investing.
“Tax Help,” Thursday, Feb. 2, 6:30 p.m. – Yvette D. Best, author and Tax Accountant will discuss ways to identify the right tax preparer and how to maximize your tax refunds.
“Budgeting 101,” Wednesday, Feb. 15, 6:30 p.m. – Joey Martin, financial services representative will present a personal financial management education workshop discussing ways to spend less and save more, so you can invest for your future.
All workshops are free and open to the public. All programs are designed to educate and not promote services through selling.
The Fayette County Public Library is located at 1821 Heritage Way in Fayetteville.
