Sharing with others through life’s difficult and challenging experiences can help make the journey brighter. Two classes are starting soon at Fayetteville First UMC to offer support and healing.
Separation and divorce can be a painful and stressful experience. It’s a confusing time when many may feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues they’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help face these challenges and move forward.
Beginning Jan. 24 Kevin McCormick and Phyllis Williamson will facilitate this new 16-week group meeting on Tuesdays at FFUMC through May 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Each session includes a video seminar with experts on divorce and recovery subjects followed by group discussion and support. Session topics are available at divorcecare.org.
There is no cost. For more information or to register, contact Kevin McCormick at 770-891-1177.
Have you lost a loved one? Are you healing from grief or looking for resources as you recover from loss?
GriefShare is a 13-week program of help where caring individuals walk with others through the journey of grief.
Classes will begin at Fayetteville First UMC on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. beginning Feb. 13. Facilitators are Bill and Carol Webb.
Each session provides a video seminar with information about the grieving process from trained and experienced individuals.
