Democrats are not friends of gun owners

Colonel Williams hurts his own credibility when he makes the incredible claim that “there has not been any action by any Democratic member of Congress to take these arms from their lawful owners.”

He needs to look up legislation introduced by, among many others, Senator Feinstein and Congresswoman McCarthy, who in January 2012 (and many other times) introduced legislation that would ban the sale, transfer, manufacturing, or importation of 150 specific firearms which are currently legal.

Sorry, but making something illegal does take them away from their owners, even if it is a more gradual process than immediate confiscation. Take a look at California.
