Mrs. Evelyn Jerrell of Peachtree City Ga. passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016.

Mrs. Jerrell was a devoted wife to her husband Paul for 68 years and her 3 sons Jeff, Robert and John. During World War II, Evelyn worked at Bechel-McCone airplane factory in Birmingham Ala. installing 50 caliber machine guns on B29 bombers for the war effort. She often commented on how satisfying and how hard the work was at the factory. Evelyn, retired from Suntrust Bank with over 20 years of service mostly at night in the Proof Department.

Evelyn was a true multi-tasker working at night and getting home in time to prepare hot breakfast and lunch for her sons. Her kindness to her family transferred over to the family pets and all the other animals that might pass through her yard. Her greatest pleasure was during the holidays when all her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren came to visit. She is survived by 3 sons Jeff Jerrell and wife Vickie of Williamson, Ga., Robert Jerrell and his wife Joyce of Peachtree City, Ga., John Jerrell of Navarre, Fla., 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday the 26th of November 2016 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens College Park, Ga. with Father Kevin of Saint Matthews Catholic Church officiating.
