Rabbi Rick Harkavy at Congregation B’nai Israel in Fayetteville will teach a class in “Judaism 101” starting Thursday evening, Sept. 29 and continuing through Jan. 26, from 7 – 8:30 p.m, at 1633 Ga. Highway 54, Fayetteville.
Harkavy has taught this class numerous times and says he enjoys sharing his knowledge with those that need a refresher, who are interested in converting or are who are just plain curious about the rich history and philosophy of Judaism.
“Judaism gave birth to two major world religions,” he says, “Christianity and Islam. Understanding Judaism is understanding the very core of all three religions.”
