Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Hurt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 21, 2016.
The couple married in Ben Hill and have spent most of their married life in or near Fayette County.
They were the proud owners of C & J Paints in Riverdale for more than 25 years and retired to Brooks in 2007 to enjoy their 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A reception is planned at Fayetteville Church of Christ this Saturday, Aug. 20, from 2 – 4 p.m. to wish them many more years of happiness.
