The Peachtree City Chapter of New Neighbors League Club named Tanya O’Rourke as their New Neighbor of the Month at the August meeting.
She joined NNLC in September 2014 and is originally from Mobile, Ala. She is married to John O’Rourke, also a native of Mobile. They have two daughters: Kayla, a senior at Mississippi State University; and Mackenzie, a senior at McIntosh High.
Tanya is a trained real estate agent but currently spends her time decorating and staging homes for others. Upon moving to Peachtree City, she and her husband remodeled their home and truly made it their own.
She has served as chair of both Day and Evening Fun & Friendship, Hospitality, and 1st Vice President. She has been involved in Luncheons, Pokeno, Bunco, Helping Hands and Fun & Friendship, just to name a few.
NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together so that they may meet and become friends while adjusting to new surroundings. It is a not-for-profit social organization that has a wide variety of activities.
If you live in the Fayette-Coweta county area and would like more information about joining NNLC, contact Club Director Carol Jensen-Linton at 770-486-9116 or visit www.newneighborsptc.com.
